The rector of the university, Professor Bauyrzhan Yerdembekov, helped the first year students to join the collective of the professional-creative faculty. Explaining the basic rules of the internal order of the student, the head of the university noted the importance of observing discipline both within the walls of the university and outside it. The rector paid special attention to issues of religion, which often become the reasons for various social problems. The rector also touched upon the theme of “social networks”. On this issue, he asked new students to be able to filter information and maintain a culture of behavior in social networks.
“You are entering a new level of life, where you need independence, responsibility and discipline. First of all, you need to focus on studying and also participate in various scientific and research activities” said B. Erdembekov. He also spoke about the opportunities for studying abroad under the program “academic mobility” and obtaining the two-diploma education. For example, today 4 students in the specialty “Physical Culture and Sport” are studying at the University of Economics of Bydgoszcz (Poland).
During the event, the Dean of the Faculty of Art and Creative Arts Sabyrzhan Mukhtarov spoke in detail about the activities and achievements of the faculty. According to him, in the new academic year, the faculty received about 300 entrants. Among them there are 17 foreign citizens (Uzbekistan, Russia). In total there are 1338 students at the faculty at the moment.
Today the heads of various departments of the oblast and the city were invited to the meeting.
At the end of the meeting, a student of the first year course of the specialty “Physical Culture and Sport” Esentai Orynbaev, who came from Uzbekistan, made a thank-you speech. Also were invited the graduates of the professional and creative faculty, the world and Asian champion in sambo Eset Kuanov and the singer of the Aktobe Oblast Philharmonic named after G. Zhubanova, laureate of international and republican song competitions Yerkebulan Kumarov. They expressed their gratitude to the faculty.
