Information Day of the Erasmus + program at Zhubanov University

Today, the Erasmus + information session was held at Zhubanov University in order to increase the opportunities for the participation of students, faculty and staff of ARSU named after K.Zhubanov, WKGMU named after M. Ospanov, AU named after S. Baishev in the Erasmus + program projects. The first part of the session was dedicated for the faculty of universities. The Rector of the University, Professor Bauyrzhan Erdembekov, opened the event with a welcoming speech. In addition, Shaizada Tasbulatova, the director of the Erasmus + National Office in Kazakhstan presented the goals and projects of the program.

She thanked the leadership of Zhubanov University for organization, which opens more opportunities for universities. Shaizada Tasbulatova acquainted the participants with the structure of the program, informed about the rules, the procedure for submitting and selecting applications, and national priorities. She spoke about the opportunities provided to universities by the Erasmus + program. “The program offers projects, cooperation, academic mobility in the field of education, studying, sports and youth policy to students, doctoral students, staff and universities from all over the world,” said S. Tasbulatova. She also gave practical recommendations for the development of projects to potential candidates. She then spoke about projects to improve the potential of higher education.

At the seminar was held an online quiz among the participants through the Kahoot Internet platform, in order to consolidate the received information. Therefore, the winner of the quiz was the coordinator of the program of academic mobility in the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics, Ph.D., associate professor Aksaule Baybaktina. In the second part of the information session, students and undergraduates were introduced to the Erasmus + program. The event was held in the format of an open dialogue.
