Today, in the framework of the international forum “Management of quality education in the system of higher education in Kazakhstan”, were opened number of offices at Zhubanov University.
Firstly, with the participation of representatives of Polish University of Economics, the Center of Polish Culture and Language, were officially opened the conference hall of the Center for International Cooperation and the INVO (International Volunteer Organization) volunteer movement office.
The director of the Institute of Physical Culture and Sports of the University of Economics in Bydgoszcz, Dr. PhD Alexander Scalia spoke at the opening ceremony of the center of Polish culture and language. “Zhubanov University is our most important and reliable partner in Kazakhstan. Forming such a large center will contribute to enriching the culture and science of the Polish people, promoting the culture of the people as a whole, ” said he.
“This center should be the golden bridge between the two republics. It is gratifying that our friendship has grown to such a scale, ”said the rector of the university Bauyrzhan Erdembekov.
The main objectives of this center are learning Polish, developing and implementing joint projects between countries.
Recall that in 2018 a similar center “Qazaq eli” was opened at the University of Bydgoszcz (Poland). According to Alexander Scali, today the center was visited by 22 delegations from Kazakhstan. “Having seen photos of my country, city and university in the Polish center in Aktobe, I was at home for a moment. Now I understand the feelings of the Kazakhs, who come to Poland and visit the Qazaq eli center, ” shared his impression the university partner.
During the opening of the center, from the Director of the Polish Football Federation, was presented a memorable book as a gift by the professor from Poland, Witold Kowalski, Vice-Rector for Strategic Affairs of the University Zhubanov Kuanyshbek Shunkeyev.
On the opening of the center of Polish culture and language, was signed a memorandum between the head of ARSU K. Zhubanov Bauyrzhan Erdembekov and Director of the Institute of Physical Culture and Sports of the Polish University of Economics Alexander Scali.
Further, university students familiarized themselves with the work of the INVO volunteer movement in various languages of the world. Now volunteers have their own corner at the university for the implementation of volunteer activities. And in the new conference hall of the Center for International Cooperation it is planned to hold not only meetings, but also online conferences and lectures with foreign partners.
