100 GRANTS OF AKIM OF THE REGION DIVIDED BETWEEN THE UNIVERSITIES OF KAZAKHSTAN

100 Aktobe children had the opportunity to study in educational institutions of Kazakhstan at the expense of the local budget.

In the akimat of the region under the chairmanship of the head of the region Ondasyn Urazalin a meeting of the Commission on the allocation of educational grants for the 2019 – 2020 academic year was held.It was attended by the heads of departments of health, education, agriculture, physical culture and sports, culture, archives and documentation, etc.

More than 10 universities of Astana, Almaty, Atyrau, West Kazakhstan and Aktobe regions applied for the competition.

Ondasyn Urazalin stressed the importance of the distribution of grants in the industry, in which there is an acute shortage of diplomaed expert.

“Certainly, this is a great opportunity for young people for any reason, who have not received state educational grants, to study at the expense of the budget. I am sure that each of them will become a sought-after specialist in their field and will make a significant contribution to the socio-economic development of the region,” he said.

When selecting universities, 12 criteria were taken into account, including the quality of education, provision of dormitories, etc.

By the decision of the Commission, the grant recipients will study at the S. Seifullin Kazakh agrotechnical University., Zhangir Khan West Kazakhstan agrarian and technological university., K.Zhubanova ARSU, Nur-Mubarak Egyptian university of Islamic culture.

It was also noted that for the first time this year at the expense of the National Fund of Kazakhstan allocated grants for training 180 Aktobe children from low-income and large families receiving targeted social assistance.

It should be noted that there is a high demand for teachers of Russian language, literature, mathematics, physics, and agricultural workers in the region
