The event was held in collaboration with The Association of English Teachers of the Republic of Kazakhstan “KazTEA”, Aktobe Teachers of English Association “AELTA” and K.Zhubanov Aktobe Regional State University.
The participants of the conference were schoolteachers and teachers of secondary and higher educational institutions from all regions of Kazakhstan. The honorary guests of the conference were representatives of the educational sphere from the USA, Russia and Tajikistan.
During the conference, the participants discussed the issues of integrating the skills of the 21st century in English teaching, activating public activities related to the study of English or subjects in English.
Rakhym Beknazarov, the vice-rector for science and innovations of the university, noted the relevance of this issue in the light of the implementation of the presidential program of Kazakhstan, “A look into the future: modernization of public consent”, where trilingual education is given a central place.
The conference consisted of 8 working sections, during which were organized presentations, master classes, round tables and exhibitions of the participants’ works.
The US Secretary of State of English language – Benjamin Taylor shared his impressions: “I want to note that I come to Aktobe for the second time and I am very glad to return to this city. I welcome all conference participants and I want to wish success in our further joint work.
It should be noted that this is already the 15th international KazTEA conference, which takes place exclusively in English language.
