13 students received a direction to the annual summer language camp program at the Northwestern Pedagogical University of Lanzhou, Gansu Province, PRC from July 30 to August 13, 2018. The summer language camp was organized by the Confucius Institute of Zhubanov University, with the support of the General Directorate of Confucius / Hanban Institutes.
The main direction of the language camp in China was to improve the language skills and get acquainted with the culture of China. In addition to language courses, participants got acquainted with culture, attractions, calligraphy, fine arts, folk music of the Republic of China. At the Northwestern Pedagogical University from 10 to 13 August, students visited the sights of the capital of Beijing.
Over the past five years, more than 130 students in the summer language camp have improved their language skills and received certificates of completion of the summer language internship program.
