A round table on the topic “The fourth industrial revolution: opportunities given to mankind” devoted to the regular President’s Address “New opportunities of development in the conditions of the fourth industrial revolution” to the people of Kazakhstan took place at the History department of K. Zhubanov University.
The purpose of the round table is discussion of the President’s Address, exchange of opinions. The deputy chief of Aktobe Regional Department of Domestic Policy Aybek Kupenov, the Pro-rector for Scientific and Innovative Work, Doctor of Historical Sciences, professor Rakhym Beknazarov, the dean of the History department Gulmira Kupenova and history scientists of the University participated in the event.
The work of the round table was opened by Rakhym Agibayevich who highlighted the role of historians in explanation of the importance of the Address.
During the meeting the following reports were made: Doctor of Historical Sciences, professor Uzakbay Ismagulov “President’s Addresses and their role in the development of the country”; Candidate of Historical Sciences Samat Eskaliyev “The main objective of the President’s Address is Kazakhstan’s entry in the number of the world leading countries”; Director of the Center of History, Ethnology and Archeology Daulet Abenov “Problem of the human capital in the Address”; Candidate of Philosophical Sciences Umbetkhan Sarsembin “The new prospects of development in the conditions of the fourth industrial revolution”; Candidate of Historical Sciences Asylbek Maden “Social issues and their value in the Address”. The goals, expected results, features, tasks of the Address were explained.
In addition during the work of the round table issues of youth policy, digital education, and the corruption problem were discussed. The deputy chief of Aktobe Regional Department of Domestic Policy Aybek Kupenov made a report on the topic “Youth Policy is the Guarantor of the Future”. The senior lecturer of “History and Religious Studies” department, Candidate of Historical Sciences Nurlygul Alikulova shared her opinion on fighting corruption, the head of the department of scientific library No. 2 Elvira Abdullina offered development of digital education resources in the library.
During the round table session slides on the President’s Address were presented to the attention of the participants. Also the book exhibition of the President’s scientific works, articles published in the media devoted to the Address was organized.
