257 new students took part in the meeting, most of them chose the specialty “Foreign Language: Two Foreign Languages”.
During the meeting, Serikzhan Duzbayev, the head of Aktobe criminal police department, spoke about the measures for punishing offenses, and Deputy Director of Ansar center Tulegen Taldybayev focused on the traditional values of Islam religion and warning youth from the influence of external factors.
“You took another step into a new life by enrolling in a university. It depends on you whether you will be an active student of Zhubanov University or not. For this you need not only to participate in social and festive events, but also to combine study with scientific research” said the vice Rector of Science and Innovations Rakhim Beknazarov. At the end of his speech, the vice rector expressed his hope that first year students will make a worthy contribution to the development of the university.
The dean of the faculty Kulpash Koptleuova told about the faculty and the students’ social and material situation, the educational process, also about the educational work and participation in scientific events, and academic mobility.
Then the director of the Center for “Development of Entrepreneurship and Innovations” Asel Shetiyeva told in detail about the project “Startup” and invited first year students to further cooperation.
The traditional meeting ended with the presentation of a 4th year student of the specialty “Foreign Language: Two Foreign Languages” Nursultan Asylov. Nursultan emphasized first year students’ attention to the fact that all necessary conditions were created at the University of Zhubanov in order to achieve success in the world of science and education.
