The meeting of Rector B. Erdembekov with the future teachers

The rector’s traditional meetings with first-year students also took place at the pedagogical faculty.

Professor Bauyrzhan Erdembekov began his speech with the history of the university. He noted that the 80 year old university produces pedagogical cadres not only for the oblast, but for the entire republic. “Having chosen the hard way of the teacher, you should direct all your forces to study and become a qualified specialist,” said the rector of the university.

During the meeting Tulegen Taldybayev, Deputy Director of the Ansar Information and Analytical Center, noted the special role of the teacher in the life of the youth. Thanks to proper pedagogical education, the younger generation can be protected from the negative impact of society. According to the religious expert, it is necessary to seek answers to the questions of interest from qualified specialists. “For today’s day there are cases of involvement of Aktobe residents between the ages of 14 and 29 in non-traditional religious movements. Most of them are students, who came from rural districts” warned Tulegen Umirzakovich.

As part of the invited guests there were also representatives of the Department of Internal Affairs of Aktobe, who acquainted first year students with measures of punishment to persons who committed offenses.

A graduate of Zhubanov University, deputy head of the oblast department of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Civil Service and Anti-Corruption Rafhat Bisenov spoke about fighting corruption, opportunities and stages of joining the civil service. Rafhat Tuleugaliyevich wished first year students to become needed specialists in the labor market and develop comprehensively.

Then the director of the Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation Development Asel Shetiyeva greeted the students. She spoke in detail about the project “Startup” and invited first year students to further cooperation: “If you have original business ideas, we are ready to support you. I invite you to join the ranks of start-ups!”.

The leaders of faculty shared the interesting moments of student life. At the end of the meeting, the veteran professor Sembai Ergalievich Kantarbay gave his blessing to the first year students.

This year 257 future teachers entered the full-time form of education. Among them 87 holders of state educational grants, 31 students enrolled under the “Serpin” program, 10 of them foreign students.
