Students of 1-year course were included to the activists

Today in the Students Palace of Zhubanov University took place an event, where 1-year students were included to the activists. The Department of Social Affairs and Youth Policy of Zhubanov University organized this event.

The event was attended by the official representative of the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan Oksana Loskutova, the well-known TV journalist and the editor-in-chief of the news service of the “Kazakhstan” TV channel, the holder of the “Daryn” youth prize Gulnaz Alimgerey.

During the event at the university was organized an exhibition of the achievements of the youth department “Zhas Otan”, the University’s League, the theater “Youth of Zhubanov”, the intellectual debating club “Ritor” and “Shabyt”, and the union of the intellectual elite “Zaman bizdiki”.

The selection of activists was conducted by a jury, which included local representatives of art. For students was shown the film about the university’s life. In addition, there was performances of CFK team “ITF”, youth dance group “BIG FAM”, which consists of only girls, the trio “Saz” and the theater “Zhubanov”.

“Dear friends! I am a graduate of Zhubanov University and so happy to be with you. Thank you for your today’s performance. Our future belongs to the youth. Therefore, I wish you always to remain as active and cheerful as today for the bright future of our country!” said Oksana Loskutova in her welcoming speech.

The leaders of the youth department “Zhas Otan”, the University’s League, the theater “Youth of Zhubanov”, the intellectual debating club “Ritor” and “Shabyt”, the union of the intellectual elite “Zaman bizdiki” told about their organizations.

According to the director of the department for social issues and youth policy of the University – Karlygash Satybaldina, more than 500 students of first courses took part in this event, where they demonstrated their acting skills, vocal and dance performances.
