Today in the sports complex of the University of Zhubanov was held the republican tournament among young men in Greco-Roman wrestling, dedicated to the 63rd anniversary of the famous athlete Mukhambetzhan Zarlykov. The event was organized by the sports department of Aktobe oblast.
The opening ceremony of the tournament, where wrestlers from the Russian Federation and Kazakhstan take part, was attended by honored masters of sports of the USSR and the Kazakh SSR, sports veterans, representatives of the regional sports department, famous athletes, university teachers, and students of Mukhambetzhan Zarlykovich.
Mukhambetzhan Zarlykov is a graduate of our university in 1981 (then AGPI). Honored coach brought a lot of famous athletes. Among them: Adilkhan Botagozov, brothers Birzhan and Berzhan Toleshov, Aidos Baymuratov Aset Adilov, Tlek Assembayev, Timur Abdikadyr, Sayat Alzhanov and others.
Director of the Department of Social Affairs and Youth Policy of Zubanov University Karlygash Satybaldina, congratulated the honored coach of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the judge of the highest national category and master of sports in Greco-Roman wrestling Mukhambetzhan Zarlykov and presented him the medal of Zhubanov University.
