Today, at Zhubanov University was the celebration of the World Teachers Day, an event “Ustazdyk – olshenbeytin uly kasіp” was held at Zhubanov University. Before the concert program, were presented a situation center and a brand store “ARSU store”. The situation center is a room with means of communication,which is intended for the operational management decisions, control and monitoring of objects of different nature, situations and other functions. The ARSU store presents a branded product, where anyone can buy clothes with ARSU university logo (sweatshirts, t-shirts, baseball caps) and stationery. Also in the store you can buy hand-made products which made by students, and university teachers’ books. In the future, there will be presented the branded goods of our oblast. The event continued with an exhibition of students’ theses.
During the event, the Rector of Zhubanov University, Professor Bauyrzhan Erdembekov made a speech. “As you know, the holiday dedicated to the teachers was approved in 1965. The teacher is a proud name. Anyone who has received a diploma can teach lessons, but this does not mean that each of them can become the good teacher,” said the head of the university. The rector shared his opinion on the message of the Head of State to the people of Kazakhstan and spoke about the latest achievements of the university. “Quality work and professionalism of the university’s team brings high results. According to the results of the independent rating conducted by Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating (IAAR) of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Zhubanov University rose from 12th place to the 7th. This is the merit of our pedagogical staff. Today, 13325 students receive knowledge at our university. Only a teacher can prepare good specialists. Therefore, the 2018-2019 academic year at Zhubanov University has been declared the year of “Quality Education”. We must continue our work for the prosperity of the Aktobe region,” concluded his speech Bauyrzhan Erdembekov.
The holiday was continued with awarding ceremony. The vice-rector for the strategic development of the University Kuanyshbek Shunkeyev was awarded with «Ibray Altynsarin» medal for significant success in organizing and improving the educational processes, the scientific secretary of the University Abylay Mukhametzhan was awarded with the medal «Honorary Teacher in Education» for special contribution to the development of education in the Republic of Kazakhstan , the doctor of physical and mathematical sciences, professor Zhaishylyk Sartabanov was awarded with the medal «For the contribution to the development of science of the Republic of Kazakhstan».
Nurzhan Berdybaev, the vice-rector for social and educational affairs, and Mergembay Kurgambekov, the head of the department of visual arts, professional and musical education were awarded with the honorary diploma of the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan E.Sagadiyev. Asan Musa was awarded with a letter of thanks of the director of the National Center for Scientific and Practical Physical Culture of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The vice-rector for science and innovations Rakhym Beknazarov and the deans Sabyrzhan Mukhtarov, Aslan Tasmagambetov, Utegen Sariev, Zhanna Zhusupova and Murat Makhambetov were awarded with letters of appreciations of Akim of Aktobe oblast. Twenty-one teachers and members were awarded with letters of appreciations of the university’s rector, two of them were awarded with K. Zhubanov medal and nine people were awarded with the medal “For their contribution to the development of the university”.
In addition, 18 teachers and employees received letters of thanks and cash remuneration from Aktobe oblast organization of the Kazakhstan industry trade union of educators and scientists. The event was continued with a concert program dedicated to the teachers.
