On January 25-27 of the current year Pro-rector for Science and Innovations of K. Zhubanov Aktobe Regional State University Rakhym Beknazarov, the responsible secretary of the admission committee Nurzhan Berdybayev, the head of Aktobe regional “Spiritual renovation” project council Samat Eskaliyev visited Orenburg region for the purpose of professional orientation work.
The purpose of the visit was carrying out professional orientation work among graduates of schools of the city of Orenburg. More than 150 graduates and their parents from Belyaev district of Orenburg region participated in the event.
Professor Rakhym Beknazarov who headed the professional orientation group, told the audience about the material and technical resources of the University, the program of academic mobility, special grants, provided privileges, social and educational work. He noted, “K. Zhubanov Aktobe Regional State University has an 83-year-old history. Today experts in 55 Bachelor specialties, 21 Master specialties and 1 PhD specialty are trained in our University. There are 10 faculties, 32 departments “.
The responsible secretary of the admission committee of the University Nurzhan Maksatbayuly who also was a part of the working group spoke about the specialties of the University, opportunities of providing first-year students with the student accommodation, process of assistance to students who are in need of social support, international background of the University in detail and answered the questions of the audience.
School graduates were given brochures and booklets, presented the video containing all information on the University.
Pupils who were informed about the University via the website arsu.kz were also present at the meeting.
