Today at Zhubanov University was a festive show program “Menin Tandauym – Aktobe!” During this event the first year students of the university officially joined the ranks of students.
The event was attended by the rector of ARSU named after K. Zhubanov, Bauyrzhan Erdembekov, and the head of the regional department for youth policy N.Zh.Kuntuov, the head of the city center for youth Zhandos Tabylganov, the faculty and students of the university.
The event solemnly began with a composition reflecting the story of non-resident students about the feelings that they felt when they first entered the platform of the Aktyubinsk railway station. Next, the students sang the song “Oh, zhastar.” The show program continued with the presentation of the achievements of 9 faculties of the university.
Rector of the University Baurzhan Erdembekov made a congratulatory speech. “This year our university proved that it is the best in Aktobe oblast. In the current academic year, our university received over 5,000 first year students. The dedication to students, entitled “Menіn tandauym – Aktobe”! This year is held for the second time. Please accept my sincere congratulations,”said the head of the university. Also with congratulatory words spoke rector’s adviser Konstantin Tshai.
Further, the rector of the university awarded 9 students with the medal “The Best Student” and handed the Gradebook to first year students. On behalf of 1-year students, Aldanazar Zhakanov swore an oath.
Letters of thanks for their contribution to the development of youth policy in the region were awarded to 13 university students. The award was presented by the head of the regional youth policy department Nurlan Kuntoov. Also, special gifts and letters of thanks on behalf of the head of the city center of youth resources Zhandos Tabylganov were awarded to 10 university students.
After the official part, the event continued with a concert program.
