Today “Rector’s Cup – 2018” KVN (Club of the Funny and Inventive) games in the Kazakh language named “Zhubanov Tolkyny” organized by the Social Issues and Youth Policy Department took place in K. Zhubanov Aktobe Regional State University among the teaching staff. The purpose of this action was expansion of the field of use of the state language, communication of current problems of society through jokes, update of problems through humor.
The University League among lecturers is held in our University annually. 9 teams of all faculties of the University participated in the game. They are “Beauty Mafia” team of Faculty of Foreign Languages, “Philkvn” team of Philological Faculty, “Bios” team of Faculty of Natural Sciences, “Elite” team of Faculty of Economics and Law, “Zhetisan” team of Faculty of Pedagogics, “NurFM” team of the Physical and Mathematical Faculty, “Creative” team of the Faculty of Professional and Creative Faculty and “Tekhnarlar” team of Technical Faculty.
The game consisted of two rounds. Under the rules of the competition the presentations of the teams and showing up the theme of the game were estimated in the first “Greeting” round. In the second round which was called “Video dubbing” the inventiveness of the teams when performing home-prepared tasks was estimated.
All participating teams were well prepared. “Beauty Mafia”, “Bios”, “Zhetisan”, “NurFM”, “Creative” teams were particularly successful with good jokes. The “Philkvn” team showed respect for the state language and managed to express their support of the polylingual policy. The current champions – “Tekhnarlar” team were the best.
The chief specialist of the Department of Work with Youth of the Regional Management of Domestic Policy Nazgul Maratkyzy, specialist of the Regional Youth Resource Center Nursultan Dosekeshev, the Chairman of “Zhasotan” Youth Wing Asylzhan Burkitalin, member of “Express” KVN team, champion of republican KVN games, journalist Nursultan Nazargaliyev, captain of “Edemi” KVN team, national team of the Russian League of Aktobe Almat Tanabayev were the members of the jury.
Following the results of the game the first prize “Rector’s Cup — 2018” was awarded to “Tekhnarlar” team. The second place was given to “Beauty Mafia” team, and the third place – to “Bios” team. The team of Faculty of Foreign Languages “Beauty Mafia” which demonstrated an interesting performance won in the “Best Joke” nomination. The member of “Tekhnarlar” team Begim Ryskulov was awarded the “Best Player” rank. All teams were awarded with diplomas on behalf of the Rector and monetary prizes.
