Today was organized the guest lecture of Zhamanbayev Bazargali Azhievich- the State Prize Laureate of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the People’s Artist of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Professor of the Kazakh National Conservatory named after Kurmangazy. Not only the students of professional creative faculty, but also pedagogical staff came to listen to the lectures of Bazargali Azhievich.
Before the beginning of the lecture, the dean of the faculty, candidate of philological sciences, associate professor Sabyrzhan Mukhtarov acquainted the students with the guest’s work. “As you know, guest lectures of famous republican and foreign scientists are traditionally held at our faculty. Today is one of those great meetings. Our guest is our fellow countryman, Bazargali Azhievich Zhamanbayev – Kazakhstan choirmaster and director, professor of the Kazakh National Conservatory named after Kurmangazy, Honored Art Worker, People’s Artist of Kazakhstan, State Prize Laureate of the Republic of Kazakhstan,” said he in his welcoming speech.
“Indeed, I was born and raised here in Aktobe. Up to the 8th grade I studied at school №6, then at grade 8 I studied in the city of Shalkar. Then I went to study in Almaty. Therefore, I do not consider myself a guest. In 1966 I graduated from the Leningrad State Conservatory. I have been teaching about 52 years. 10 years led the Opera House. Over the years of work in the theater, I has staged more than 30 opera performances. Among them are “Alpamys” by E. Rakhmadiyev, “Zhumbak kyz”, “Aisulu” by S. Mukhamedzhanov, “Kyz Zhibek”, “Yer Targyn” by E. G. Brusilovsky, “Birzhan and Sara” by M. Tulebaev, “Abai” by A. Zhubanov and L. Hamidi, “Eugene Onegin” and “Iolanta” by P. I. Tchaikovsky and others. After graduating from the Leningrad Conservatory, I arrived in Almaty.I worked closely with Akhmet Kuanovich and Gaziza Akhmetovna Zhubanova. I learned a lot from them. There are two versions of the opera “Abai” by A. Zhubanov and L. Hamidi. The second belongs to me, ” says the professor. He also elaborated on the personal qualities of Akhmet and Gaziza Zhubanova, Nursulu Tapalova, Rosa Zhamalova, Rosa Baglanova, Ermek Serkebaev, Bibigul Tulegenova and many other famous artists.
“To achieve something in life you have to work very hard. Only hard work is a guarantee of great achievements. Therefore, do not waste your time, read more books, ” advised Bazargali Zhamanbayev.
During the meeting, the head of the department “Visual arts, professional and musical education” Mergenbai Korganbekov handed Bazargali Azhievich the picture drawn by graduate students of this specialty. The painting depicts the native land of the professor.
