Today, in the framework of the “Spiritual Revival” program, at Zubanov University was held a scientific-practical conference “Literary and spiritual heritage: in the context of intercultural communication”. The conference was dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the famous folklorist, doctor of philological sciences, professor Abat Pangreeyev.
The purpose of the conference was to consider the toponymic folklore, consonant with the articles of the Head of State N.A. Nazarbayev “Seven Facets of
the Great Steppe”, as another area of national folklore, promoting the scientific works of the scientist who studied the characteristics of toponymic folklore.
Abat Shamovich Pangereev has been working at the philological faculty of ARSU for more than 30 years. Over the years he served as head of the department, dean of the faculty.
Today he directs the research center “Abai Studies and National Spirituality” and he is the author of such monographic works and textbooks as «Zher-su ataularyn poeticasy», «Shekty Monke bidyn gubrattary», «Adebiet zhane toponimika», «Berniyaz Kuleev poeticasy», «Toponimdik folklerdyn zhanrlyk turlery», «Adebiettanuga kirispe», «Kazak folklerynyn miftyk-toponimdyk negyzdery», «Kazaktyn toponimdyk folklery», «Folklerdyn ulttyn negyzdery», «Zher-su ataulary zhane ulttyk rykhaniyat».
The scientific-practical conference began wuth a video film about the life of a famous literary critic and the congratulatory speech of the rector of the university, Bauyrzhan Erdembekov. The head of the university, having dwelt on the scientific way, awarded him Zhubanov medal. This medal was awarded and well-known academician, honorary guest of the conference Seit Kaskabasov. Also, according to the tradition, Bauyrzhan Amangeldievich presented national chapans to Abat Shamovich and Seit Askarovich.
In the course of scientific events celebrant were awarded letters of congratulations on behalf of akim of the oblast Berdybek Saparbayev, deputy akim Marat Tokzhanov, head of the regional department of internal policy Bulbul Eleusinova, chairman of Aktobe city maslikhat Sulupan Shyntasova, chairman of the city union Raushan Serikova, director of the Center for Language Learning of “Aktobe Regional Department for the Development of Languages» Klara Sergazina.
Famous philological scientists from Orenburg, Astana, Almaty, Kokshetau, Mangistau, Karaganda and other cities of Kazakhstan also came to congratulate Professor A.Pangreeyev. At the plenary meeting of the conference were made presentations: Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, doctor of philological sciences, professor, head of the Kazakh literature department of the Eurasian National University named after L.N. Gumilyov Seit Kaskabasov; Doctor of Philosophy, Professor Amaengeldy Aitaly, Doctor of Philology, Professor Alpysbai Musayev; Doctor of Philology, Professor, Head of the Department of Russian Philology of the Orenburg State University, Julian Pykhtin; Professor of the National University named after L.N. Gumilev,
doctor of philological sciences Zhantas Zhakypov; Professor of the South Kazakhstan State Pedagogical Institute, Candidate of Philology Nariman Nurpeysov; Professor of the National University named after L.N. Gumilyov, doctor of philological sciences Bekzhan Abdualiuly.
The scientific path and personal qualities of the hero of the day were also noted by the heads of departments, deans of the faculties, who specifically came to congratulate the professor.
Section meetings of the conference continued after lunch in the academic building named after N. Baiganin. In the same place, within the framework of the celebration of the anniversary of Abat Shamovich, was held a meeting of young poets of the Faculty of Philology with a well-known scientist, akyn Serikzat Duisengazy. During the meeting, he presented his new book «The History of World Literature».
