Pavel Kazantsev, the Member of the Committee for Economic Reform and Regional Development of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, arrived in Zhubanov University on a working visit. The university’s staff, as well as representatives of other educational institutions in the oblast attended the meeting.
The deputy outlined the three main tasks of today’s meeting: a report on the work of the Parliament during the reporting period, talk about trends, ideas, and problems in the economic and political spheres that the Parliament is interested in. Also to get feedback and discuss the draft law “On the status of a teacher of the Republic of Kazakhstan”.
So, Pavel Olegovich told about how many bills were considered from September 1 of the last year. According to him, currently there are 80 bills in the Parliament’s portfolio, 21 signed by the President regarding various fields of activity.
Then the deputy told about the introduction of patriotic education in schools. “For 3 years we have been modeling a patriotic education project based on the Boy Scout program. There are pilot projects for today,” said Pavel Kazantsev.
After the report of the deputy, a meaningful discussion on the draft law “On the status of a teacher of the Republic of Kazakhstan” took place. A request to re-consider items regarding the retirement age, additional measures of protection and the hourly load of teachers was made by Tatyana Alimpieva, Associate Professor of the Department of Law of Zhubanov University. According to the deputy, received recommendations, suggestions and questions will be referred and reviewed by the competent authorities.
