In the framework of the President N.Nazarbayev’s “Seven Facets of the Great Steppe” article, the Faculty of History and the Conference Hall of the ARSU named after K. Zhubanov was named after the famous historian of the 18th – 20th centuries, doctor of historical sciences, countryman, a native of Shalkar district, Bekezhan Suleimenov. At the same time, there was a presentation of the study room to the war veterans of the Afghan war, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the withdrawal of Soviet troops from Afghanistan.
Akim of Aktobe oblast Berdybek Saparbayev, Akim of Aktobe Ilyas Ispanov, scientists, representatives of regional and city akimats, representatives of the public, scientists, representatives of the Assembly of Peoples of Kazakhstan, teachers and students of the university attended the solemn event.
It is worth noting that the organization of these events is timed to the programmatic articles of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan “Look into the future: modernization of public consciousness” and “Seven facets of the Great Steppe”.
The rector of the university Bauyrzhan Erdembekov in his word noted that the assignment of the names of prominent personalities to audiences and corporations was a trend for the university. During the event, the rector awarded them a medal of K. Zhubanov brother of Bekezhan Suleimenov Bakytkerei Admanov and veteran of the Afghan war Marat Koylybayev.
In the opening ceremony of the monument to Bekezhan Suleimenov, the head of the region Berdybek Saparbayev spoke. “As is known, in the framework of the program article of the President N.Nazarbayev“ Seven Facets of the Great Steppe
”, significant events are held at the Zhubanov University. In my opinion, the appropriation of the name of the historian who made an invaluable contribution to the development and prosperity of our country is a significant event. With such noble actions we should educate the younger generation of love for the native land, science and patriotism, ” said the Akim.
Next, the president of the organization “Kos Shynar”, the chairman of the public foundation “Kos Shynar” – Gulia-Munshuk ” Galymzhan Byderbes thanked the veterans of the Afghan war for the patriotic education of young people.
In turn, an honorary employee of the Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan, an honorary citizen of Shalkar district Shyndaulet Aldiyarov congratulating the participants of the event, noted that the heroism of the soldiers of the Afghan war became a model for present and future generations.
The leader of the sports and patriotic club “Er-Baқyt”, holder of the order “Kurmet”, holder of the Order of the Russian Union of Veterans of Afghanistan “For Merit” Marat Koylybayev told about the war in Afghanistan, about heroism and the debt to the Motherland.
At the end of the event, thanks were expressed by the dean of the Faculty of History Gulmira Kupenova.
