Students of Zhubanov University under the guidance of senior teachers of the Department of Law Nurutdinova A.Zh., Kalabayeva P.S. visited the Open Day, which was held by the Agency for Civil Service Affairs and Anti-Corruption of Aktobe oblast in the framework of the project “Sanaly Orpak”. The aim of the event was to establish trust and partnership relations between the agency and citizens, in order to form an anti-corruption outlook among citizens and to foster an intolerant attitude towards manifestations of corruption. As subjects of counteraction to corruption and education, our fundamental task was to increase anti-corruption literacy, develop an anti-corruption culture of the population, and transform students and teachers into agents of anti-corruption policy.
Modern society places high demands on the professional preparedness of students and we agree with the position of our head of state N.A. Nazarbayev, that universities should prepare popular specialists. Doing our work for the benefit of society honestly, fairly and impartially, we will be able to educate highly qualified personnel, because the main mission of our university is “Training in the labor market of Western region of the country as a whole, competitive specialists educated in the spirit of Kazakhstani patriotism”.
As part of the event, the students were given a tour of the Department of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau, also was presented a report on the main directions of the authorized body, and a meeting with the head of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Aktobe oblast Mukhambetov M.B.
Summing up the results of the Open House Day Mukhambetov M.B. expressed gratitude for the staff graduates of Zhubanov University, who bear impeccable service.
