Aktobe Regional State University named after K.Zhubanov, within the framework of the project “University-school: a model of mutual cooperation”, conducted a constructive-professional dialogue with the city department of education.
Directors of more than 80 schools, 19 heads of pre-school organizations of the city, deans of faculties, and heads of departments took part in the constructive-professional dialogue. This meeting for all educational organizations was the beginning of a new direction.
Vice-rector for educational and methodical work of the University Bibigul Abenova made a presentation on the work of the university to improve the effectiveness of teacher training, ways to improve educational programs and the introduction of a dual education system. Director of the Institute of Continuing Education Gulbanu Takisheva spoke about the importance of creating branches of the department on the basis of schools.
On the issues of employment of graduates and the development of a marketing system for consumers and graduates spoke Aynur Kadyrkulova, the head of the educational and methodological department.
The head of the city education department, Sayan Suleimenov, stressed the need for an analysis of the teaching staff for the next 5 years to effectively address the shortage of personnel. Given the importance of career guidance for students, it was proposed to hold bilateral consultations in the direction of admission to the most popular specialties. In turn, the head of the vocational guidance department, Zhamilya Idieva, made a report on the direction of professional guidance at the university.
During the constructive-professional dialogue, the following issues were discussed: the importance of the interaction between the university and schools, the possibility of organizing joint events with the joint implementation of the principle “A qualified specialist is the key to quality education”.
At the end of the dialogue, a bilateral agreement was signed within the framework of the project “University-school: a model of mutual cooperation”. It was also proposed to intensify the work of opening branches of departments on the
basis of urban schools, attracting teachers and practitioners to the lecture “Invited lecturer”.
