As part of the Year of Youth in Aktobe Regional State University named after K.Zhubanov was held a solemn presentation of the updated “Palace of Youth”. The event was attended by Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Gulshara Abdykalikova, Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kulyash Shamshidinova, Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Kazakhstan Berdibek Saparbayev, Akim of the Aktobe oblast Ondasyn Urazalin and Akim of Aktobe city Ilyas Ispanov.
A tour of the renovated building was held by the Rector of Zhubanov University Bauyrzhan Erdembekov. There are literally all conditions for the development and leisure of young people. Thus, the head of the university introduced the participants of the event to the reconstructed classrooms of the Youth Palace. Now the palace has a piano class, a multimedia room, a choral art room named after the Kazakh opera singer Rosa Zhamanova, a choreography hall named after the first Kazakh ballerina Nursulu Tapalova, a music technique room, bayan and dombra classes. Also here is the department of “Music and choreography” of the professional and creative faculty.
In turn, Vice-Rector for Science and Innovations of the University Rakhym Beknazarov presented to the guests 3 programs of the project “Smart city”.
On the second floor of the “Palace of Youth” were presented a cinema, exhibition hall “Atrium” and the hall of press conferences “Mangіlik el”. To date, in the cinema hall called “ZhubanovCinema” it is planned to show such films as “Bіr tup alma aqashy” by director Murat Akhmanov (together with “AQTÓBE” TV channel), “Balalyk shagymnyn aspany” by director Rustem Abdrashev and “Founder” by director John Lee Hancock. Cinema”, a 3-year student of the technical faculty Alisher Orazymbetov: “These films were selected by online voting of students. The cinema hall is designed for 120 seats, the film sessions will be held 3 times a week,”said Alisher.
During the acquaintance in the “Atrium” hall the guests visited the fashion show of young fashion designers of the “Design” department of ARSU named after K.Zhubanov, fashion house “Kunkey” (Kunkey Sabina) and an exhibition of paintings by the Greek graphic artist Janis Kyriakidis, the Italian artist Luigi Casalino and the Polish artist Kazimierz Babkevich. The paintings were donated to the university by foreign authors.
Further, in the hall “Mangilik el” was held a round table discussion on the theme “Mangilik El “ youth potential and opportunities” with activists of the youth movement of Aktobe oblast. Participants discussed current issues related to youth and social policy.
G. Abdykalikova noted that today there are great opportunities for the youth of the country as part of the Year of the Youth, the Five Social Initiatives of the Head of State, the “Ruhani Jangiru” program, and programs to support business initiatives.
“The country needs highly educated, competitive youth. 26 Kazakhstani universities will become the flagships of the country’s higher education and science will adopt and disseminate the experience of Nazarbayev University in the training of qualified personnel. Post-graduate employment of young people is also important. From now on, the ranking of higher education institutions will depend on the level of employment of their graduates. This year, the state will further allocate KZT 26 billion to solve problems and support young people. Not only in the Year of Youth, but also in the future, youth issues and initiatives will find substantial support,” the vice-premier of RK addressed to the students.
A 3-year student of the Faculty of Philology, chairman of the regional headquarters of the branch of the Republican youth movement “Zangyru Zholy” Aslan Abuov spoke at the round table. “To expand access of young people to higher education, the state provides grants for education. In addition, about 160 companies have allocated grants for training for students of our university, who will work in these enterprises in the future. In this regard, I would like to express my deep gratitude to the heads of enterprises that support us. This solves, firstly, the social problems of youth, and secondly, the problem of employment. If the process started at our university would be widely implemented in the country, more than 500-1000 young people would receive social support,” suggested the university activist. Taking this opportunity, he invited the ministers to become honored guests of the megaproject “Zhubanovtar Shanyragy”, which will be held
on the eve of the 150th anniversary of the city of Aktobe and the 120th anniversary of the birth of Kudaibergen Zhubanov.
Albina Ersainova young specialist, submitted a proposal to the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kulyash Shamshidinova: “At present, we have 850 students from the Republic of Karakalpakstan. Most of them are Kazakhs. The university provides them with free tuition whenever possible. Since Karakalpakstan borders with our country, many young people want to study at Zhubanov University and return to their historic homeland. And is it possible to allocate a special grant for our university? ”
“Earlier, 2% of state grants were provided to students of Kazakh nationality. Now the percentage has increased to 4. Therefore, when passing the competition, Kazakh students from abroad can study according to this calculation. The second question is that for several years now we have been enrolling 1000 children in preparatory courses at 16 universities of Kazakhstan. This is also an opportunity for Kazakh guys from abroad. This question will be transmitted through the embassy in Uzbekistan” replied the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
