The portrait exhibition of a 1-year student in the specialty “Design” Ayya Spambetova was opened today at the Students’ Palace. The presentation of the artist’s works is timed to the Year of Youth announced in the country.
The exhibition features 60 works, including portraits of the first teachers of Ayi, prominent figures of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the rector of the university, hockey players of Aktobe club, as well as friends and relatives of the young artist.
The rector of the university Bauyrzhan Erdembekov made a welcoming speech. “Today, we again witnessed a wonderful event that is taking place at Zhubanov University. Such joyful moments give us good life experiences. When we first saw the work of Ayi, we offered to get a higher education in our university. Today she is one of the most active university students. First of all, I express sincere gratitude to Aya and her mother, who strongly supports the young artist,”said the head of the university. By the decision of the Academic Council, Rector of the university presented Aya with a certificate on a special scholarship “Kudaibergen Zhubanov” and a medal “Uzdіk student”.
The president of the “Association of NGOs”, Aigul Duysenova, congratulated the talented artist. “First of all, I congratulate Aya’s mother and I want to thank her for her strong spirit and character, which allowed her to find herself and achieve success,” she addressed the artist’s mother, Sandugash Spambetova.
Schoolteachers and teachers of the Palace of Schoolchildren attended the exhibition. They congratulated the girl on such a significant day and wished her creative success. Aye was also awarded a diploma on behalf of the director of the Palace of Schoolchildren Nurgul Musabekova.
Representatives of Aktobe hockey club were among the guests of the exhibition. “On behalf of our entire club, we wish Aye good health and congratulations on the opening of her first exhibition,” said team defender Daniel Alyakin.
Summing up the solemn part of the exhibition, the words of gratitude to the management of the university were expressed by the mother and grandmother of Aya Spambetova.
Portraits of famous personalities of Kazakhstan such as Denis Ten, Dimash Kudaibergenov, Gennady Golovkin and others caused great interest among the visitors of the exhibition. In her works, the artist depicted not only the appearance of the characters, but also their character.
With her example, a 1-year student proves that the desire to create is more powerful than the hardships of life.
