The official opening of the republican forum “STUDENT-SPECIALIST” was held at ARSU named after K. Zhubanov. The forum brought together representatives of 12 higher educational institutions of Kazakhstan, teachers of NIS, representatives of educational institutions and manufacturing enterprises.
As part of the “Year of Youth”, one of the ideas of which was to provide young people of Kazakhstan with quality education, the university scales its work on the issue of dual education in universities.
“At present, Zhubanov University has established strong ties with educational and industrial organizations. Already this year, 38 graduates who have fully mastered the updated educational content, criteria-based assessment and three languages will cross the thresholds of schools. These are the first signs of the new program, because, in addition to theory, they received practice as part of dual training in 20 secondary schools in Aktobe oblast,” said the rector of ARSU Bauyrzhan Erdembekov in his welcoming speech.
Also, the head of the university noted a special joint work with Nazarbayev intellectual school, which served as a key moment in the organization of this forum. “Students of 9 specialties participate in the project “Study-Share”, practical classes in 6 disciplines are held at NIS. We support the admission policy of graduates of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School with 2 years of study. In 2018, 10 NIS graduates took advantage of this opportunity,”said the rector.
In conclusion, he noted that with the right choice of specialty, as well as working hard on the chosen profession, a person could achieve the highest achievements. Activists of the university, the participants of the “Learn-share” project, as well as guests of the forum made the opening.
The forum continued at four dialogue sites, where students will share with each other the experience of independent research in the preparation of research projects, practical skills in the implementation of ideas and innovation.
At the closing ceremony of the event, a resolution of the republican forum will be adopted and certificates will be awarded.
