Today at Zhubanov University was opened the regional qualifying stage of the start-up projects “Startup Bolashak – Menin Armanym”. The main goal of the “Menin Armanym” contest is to attract the most active and gifted young people, support socially important business initiatives of young entrepreneurs aimed at improving the quality of life standards, as well as transferring advanced ones. The opening was attended by Executive Secretary, Rector of Zhubanov University Bauyrzhan Erdembekov, Head of Atameken Scientific and Production Enterprise of Aktobe oblast Anar Darzhanova, Head of the Regional Department for Youth Policy Nurlan Kuntuov, as well as mentors represented by the Director of Azaya LLP Ainur Baktygaliyeva, founder of the agency “Media Pro” Zhanargul Dosova and others. Each of them shared the success story of his career in the TEDx format. Welcoming the guests and participants, the head of the university, Bauyrzhan Erdembekov, noted that Zhubanov University creates the necessary conditions for teaching and realizing students’ entrepreneurial skills.

Business Administration, Anar Darzhanova. “During the qualifying stage, the contestants go through a start-up weekend and an acceleration program conducted by the Competition Organizers. The Regional Center for the Development of Innovations and Entrepreneurship of the Base University (in our case, Zhubanov University) registers and leads selected projects throughout the Competition” said the director of the Center for the Development of Innovation and Entrepreneurship of ARSU named after K. Zhubanov Assel Shetiyeva. At the end of regional startup weekends, the Competition participants will present and defend their start-up projects to the members of the competitive commission, which will select the quarter-finalists of the Competition based on the results of the defense. Participants in the quarter finals on the basis of regional TSRPY are accelerating the program.
“A quarter of the final will be held in regional cities (west, south, east, north) in the format of Festivals. On the final day of the quarter finals, the participants present and defend their start-up projects to the members of the competition committee, who will select the semi-finalists of the Competition. The semi-final (64 projects) and the final (16 projects) of the competition will be held in Nur-Sultan in a TV format at KazMedia Studio. The qualifying round of the Startup Bolashak – Menin Armanym national competition for start-up projects will run until April 28, 2019. Since April 2019, the 4th season of the National Start-up Project “Startup Bolashak – Menin Armanym” competition has started in the format of a reality show. The competition is organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan. To participate in the project 19 basic universities were selected, which are the regional centers of the competition. The qualifying round in the Aktobe oblast will be held in Aktobe Regional State University named after K. Zhubanov.
