In honor of the 150th anniversary of Aktobe, the city hosted a charity auction-concert “Zhyrecten Zhurekke”. The Rector of Zhubanov University Bauyrzhan Erdembekov attended the event.
The purpose of this event was to provide social and foster care for children, who left without parental care.
And Zhubanov University did not stand aside. Thus, the head of the university awarded five educational grants named after K.Zhubanov to graduates of five schools in the city.
During the year, they are given the opportunity to study at the university for free. Subject to excellent study, an active student life educational grant of the university is extended.
The event featured singers and cultural figures from the oblast. Certificates for the funds received from the charity concert and the auction, as well as letters of thanks to sponsors of orphans were presented
