Today Zhubanov University was visited by a delegation from China headed by the rector of Xinjiang University of Finance and Economics Ge Guo. Among the guests were Director of the research center Zhao Guochong, Deputy Director of the Institute of culture and information Jiang Hongzhong, Professor of Xinjiang University of Finance and Economics Hu Guolian.
Vice-rector Kuanyshbek Shunkeev spoke on behalf of the management of the University Zhubanov, who noted that every year the sphere of international cooperation of the University Zhubanov expands its capabilities. Within the framework of academic mobility, our students are trained in leading Chinese universities, and also carried out the work of teachers-researchers in educational or scientific institutions in China. It was also about the high level of activity of the Institute of Confucius ARSU, which for 8 years has been a bridge of cooperation between the two countries. Confucius Institute promotes the development of educational, scientific and cultural relations of the University with scientific, educational and public organizations in the region, promotes the active spread of the Chinese language. To date, the Confucius Institute has achieved great success and gained credibility in our region.
It should be noted that just a week ago a meeting with representatives of Xinjiang University of Finance and Economics was held, during which the leadership of Zhubanov University put forward a number of proposals for further international cooperation: the exchange of students and teachers, the development of joint research activities, the expansion of the Confucius Institute, as well as the possibility of allocation of scientific grants for students of the University of Zhubanov and the introduction into the educational process of students of Zhubanov University specialty “World economy” faculty of Economics and law MBA program of Xinjiang University of Finance and Economics.
According to the results of today’s meeting, the head of the leading Chinese University Ge Guo confirmed the readiness of close cooperation and assistance in resolving issues.

As part of the visit of the delegation from Xinjiang University of Finance and Economics, the annual Council of the Institute of Confucius was also held, where the work and prospects of the Institute were discussed. In addition, guests from China visited the faculty of Economics and law, met with foreign companies-partners of Aktobe region, visited the concert at the G. Zhubanova Philharmonic.
