Today in the conference hall “Mangilik El” with the support of the University Zhubanov held a presentation of the book “Oiyl. History in archival documents”, dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the Foundation of the strengthening of the Uil.
Currently, by the efforts of enthusiasts who love and are proud of their region, a lot of work is being done to study the history of the region, its sacred places, historical and local history works are published. The authors of the book Oleg Yaroshenko and Nurlan Zhumagaliev conducted a huge research work on the study and synthesis of archival and historical documents, made available to the public previously unknown facts concerning the history of Uil.
It is worth noting that the Uil district is not just one of the districts of Aktobe region, it is one of the key trade points on the Great Silk Road. In addition, it is a land rich in nature and people who keep the ancient Kazakh traditions.
Participants of the presentation, including honorary citizens of the Uil district, akims of the district of different years, veterans, poets and scientists, noted that the book will be useful to all who are interested in the history of their native land, and will take a worthy place in the historical and literary heritage of Aktobe region.
