Today, the Head of state Kasym-Zhomart Tokayev delivered an Address to the Nation of Kazakhstan, in which he noted that almost 30 years have passed since the adoption of independence. Now Kazakhstanis have the opportunity to strengthen the achievements of independence and reach a qualitatively new level of development of the country.
The rector of K. Zhubanov ARSU Bauyrzhan Yerdembekov commented on the President’s Address: “Every point of today’s message to the people of Kazakhstan found an echo in our soul. With each of them we internally agreed. We need these reforms like air. I am glad that in our work, we are already actively introducing some points relating to our sphere, -the head of the university said.
Bauyrzhan Yerdembekov noted the importance of the President’s statement about the need to create equal opportunities for people with special needs, stressing that the Centre for child development “Zerek”, created a startup at the University a year ago, the students of pedagogical faculty along with other educational processes, are engaged with a group of children with speech defects.
In addition, according to the rector, supporting the initiative of Kasym-Zhomart Tokayev, Zhubanov University stands for the development of the village and rural schools. To improve the quality of education, the University introduces dual specialties, such as Mathematics-Informatics, Mathematics-Physics, Physics-Informatics, Chemistry-Biology, History-Religious studies, Geography-History, which allow to fill the shortage of subject teachers. Specialists with such a diploma can teach in a small school in a remote village.
Bauyrzhan Yerdembekov noted the active volunteer movement at the University. These are volunteers of the club “Zhubanov zhyluy”, thanks to which there is widespread support for poor, sick children and orphans.
The Address of the President to the nation of Kazakhstan was also discussed today by the heads of structural departments, teaching staff of Zhubanov University, who expressed support for the initiatives spelled out in the address.
