In the Address of the Head of state Kasym-Jomart Tokayev to the nation of Kazakhstan, which raised the question of strengthening the nation’s health and the development of mass sports, it was said that “it is important to develop mass sports among citizens of all ages in the country, mass physical culture should be a pyramid, on top of which will be new Champions, and at its base, healthy, active youер and a strong nation”.
In support of the initiative of the President, to ensure maximum availability of sports infrastructure today in K. Zhubanov ARSU opened a new mini-football field and reconstructed sports complexes.
The opening of a new site for Futsal was held in a solemn atmosphere with the participation of heads of sports institutions of the region, students, teachers and management of K. Zhubanov ARSU. The rector of the University of Bauyrzhan Yerdembekov in his welcoming speech noted sports achievements of the University students, who regularly win prizes in international, national and regional competitions. “In the summer on the basis of our University for the first time in Aktobe was held X summer Universiade in 38 sports with the participation of more than 60 universities. It is significant that in such a big competition we took second place. As for football, Aktobe is the capital of Kazakhstan football with the best fans, so to get around this sport is impossible”, – said Bauyrzhan Amangeldyevich, stressing that new sports facilities will not only contribute to formation of healthy lifestyle among students, but also to improve sports skills of promising youth.
With regards to Zhubanov University came the Deputy of the Regional Department of physical culture and sports Nurbol Sydykov, who thanked the University management for the development of mass sports and wished success to young athletes. Among the guests was also the President of the Aktobe regional Federation of football Askhat Kalzhanov, Deputy Director of the Regional specialized children and youth sports school of Darkhan Tazhigulov and veteran players.
After the symbolic cutting of the ribbon and parting words, the quality of the mini – football field was experienced by the student teams. The Champions of the”ARSU League” of the professional and creative faculty and the faculty of Economics and law held a friendly match.
It is worth noting that football University Zhubanov has its own history. The team of the University in different years became the champion of the Universiade, was a silver medalist of the championship of Kazakhstan among students, and in March of 2019 was created in Liga Futsal ” ARSU League “, so the new site for training and matches has been a boon for young players.
The reconstructed sports complex where student sports sections on volleyball and various types of wrestling function was also presented to guests. And in the near future will be installed climbing wall for climbing lessons.
It is important that in addition to infrastructure development, Zhubanov University supports sports students. For example, only at the beginning of this academic year, 2 students of the specialty “physical education and sport” were awarded scholarships in the amount of 200 thousand tenge at the expense of patrons, and 1 freshman for social support – a grant for training at the expense of the University.
As part of the opening of new facilities in ARSU also opened its doors exhibition hall, which presents the best works of students of the Professional and creative faculty. As the teacher of the Department “Fine arts and design” member of the Union of artists of Kazakhstan Zhanibek Esengulov said: “With the advent of its own student exhibition hall, we will be able to show unique works of students, and they are not few, regularly change the exposition. We plan to organize here personal exhibitions of our teachers, graduates of the University”. Supporting the ideas of the teachers, the rector of the University of Bauyrzhan Yerdembekov suggested holding the exhibition and sale of student work that will be an additional incentive for young artists and designers.
