Today, first-course students of the technical faculty and the faculty of natural sciences were introduced to the basic principles of the University. Continuing a traditional meeting with first-course students, the rector of the University of Bauyrzhan Yerdembekov welcomed young Zhubanov students, stressing that today the number of students, masters and doctoral candidates of the University has reached 16 thousand. Only this year there were 5 thousand people from different regions of Kazakhstan, near and far abroad. “Each of you is now a part of our University and the reputation and image of Zhubanov University depends on each of you,” said Bauyrzhan Amangeldyevich.
The rector focused the attention of first-course students on the need to develop taking into account new trends, master technologies and confidently step into the future, telling in detail about the opportunities offered by Zhubanov University: double-degree education, Academic mobility program, Startup Academy, research centers and laboratories, center for professional development and career, language centers, the largest library with 700 thousand electronic resources, etc. In addition, the head of the University noted that for the convenience of students there is a student service Center, and soon a mobile application will be launched, in which you can find any information about the University, the educational process, request the necessary service.
Baurzhan Yerdembekov shared their contacts in social networks, recommended that to solve any issues together and advised to actively engage in scientific, research and social activities: “You are the powerful catalysts of change for the better.
