Today at the enlarged meeting of Council of professional and creative faculty of the leadership of the Zhubanov University, teachers and invited guests congratulated the doctor of pedagogical Sciences, Professor Tolegen Botagariev with the 60-year anniversary.
The rector of the University of Bauyrzhan Yerdembekov greeting the celebrant, gave a letter of thanks on behalf of akim of the region and the medal for merit in the development of the University, noting that in 20 years of work at the University Tolegen Botagariev did much for the development of education and sports, including one of the first to introduce a system of double-diploma education.
About Tolegen Amirzhanovich’s merits in promotion and development of sports in the Aktobe region, across all Western Kazakhstan and even abroad spoke also other invited. So, the Director of the Institute of Physical culture and sports of the OGPU Petr Tissin delivered a gift on behalf of the rector the book to the anniversary of the Orenburg University, where, according to the teacher, repeatedly mentioned the name of Tolegen Botagariev, and Director of the Institute of Sport and Health, University of economy in Bydgoszcz (Poland) Alexander Skaly in greeting, spoke about the long-term cooperation and good joint work, which grew into a friendship.
Former students and today famous Aktobe residents came to congratulate the honored teacher and figure: the head of the City Department of physical culture and sports, multiple world champion in kettlebell lifting Yevgeny Goncharov and the Deputy of the Regional Department of physical culture and sports Nurbol Sydykov. They handed the hero of the day letters of thanks and expressed gratitude.
Among the guests were also the Director of the sports club for people with disabilities Natalya Sokolovskaya, who noted a huge contribution of the University and personally Tolegen Botagariev to the development of Paralympic sport, Professor of Kh.Dosmuhamedov Atyrau state University Nurilla Mambetov, chief specialist of the Regional Department of education Nurken Zhaksybaev and others.
We will remind, Tolegen Botagariev doctor of pedagogical Sciences, Professor, member-correspondent of the I. Altynsarin Kazakh Academy., Peter’s Academy of Sciences and arts (St. Petersburg), holder of the breastplate of MES RK “For merits in the development of science of the Republic of Kazakhstan”, author of 4 monographs, 5 textbooks, author of more than 150 scientific articles.
After graduation, he began teaching at the Department of “physical education” in Guryev pedagogical Institute. From 1980 to 1984, along with teaching, he established himself as an excellent basketball player, later became a senior basketball coach of the region and made a great contribution to the development of student basketball.
From 1991 to 1999 he headed the Department “Theory and methods of physical education” Khalel Dosmukhamedov Atyrau state University.
From 1999 to 2004 he headed the Department of “Sports disciplines “at the University of Zhubanov, in 2004 for the first time in Aktobe held an International scientific and practical conference” Modern problems of physical culture and sports”, in 2004 he was appointed Vice-rector for academic Affairs of Aktobe state pedagogical Institute, received the title of Professor.
In 2004-2006 Tolegen Amirzhanovich was the Chairman Of the public Association “Special Olympics”, where he made a certain contribution to the development of adapted physical culture in Aktobe region. In the 2007-2008 academic years, he was the Director of the pedagogical Institute of Shakhmardan Esenov Aktau state University. In 2008-2010 years -Director of the Makhambet Utemisov Pedagogical Institute of West Kazakhstan state University. Since 2010 academic year continues methodical and scientific work in K. Zhubanov ARSU.
