Started the project “Zhubanov Kerueni”. The new program of Zhubanov University is aimed at establishing close ties between local Executive authorities and the University and further development of the project “with a diploma to the village”. The result of such coordinated work should be the elimination of staff shortages and the training of specialists in demand. With this purpose, the mobile unit “Zhubanov Kerueni” the first of the districts visited Alga district.
A rich program was organized by the leadership, teaching-staff of the University, specialists in career guidance and admissions, public figures and student activists.
Within the framework of the project “Zhubanov kerueni” educational programs of Zhubanov University were presented, fairs of student clubs, research sections were organized, master classes and meetings were held, at which students and their parents were able to get acquainted with the activities of the University, and in General, to learn about the specialties in demand in the labor market.
At the meeting, the rector of the University Bauyrzhan Yerdembekov thanked all the inhabitants of Alga district for supporting the project. “Today we are starting a large project with Alga district in support of the well-known state program “With a diploma to the village”. For the countryside to develop, there must be young professionals. The next question is the correct choice of a graduate of his profession. Parents, subject teachers, class teachers-all should contribute to the choice of profession of the child. We notice that even after 4 years at the University, young people do not want to work in the specialty – and this means that they have chosen the future profession incorrectly. Therefore, career guidance work in cities and districts should begin not only in 11 classes, but also in 8,9 classes, ” the rector said.
Bauyrzhan Yerdembekov also touched upon the shortage of subject teachers in the region, stressing that to eliminate this problem, Zhubanov University cooperates with regional, city departments of education, schools and akims of districts, but in order to strengthen this work since October, within the framework of the project “Zhubanov kerueni” the University staff goes on business trips to the districts. “We are ready to hold lectures of scientists and joint seminars on updated curricula, to open branches of departments in schools, to organize various Olympiads among schoolchildren, to develop joint teaching AIDS in order to strengthen ties between the school and the University and to prepare really necessary specialists,”- the head of the University said.
Speaking at a meeting with residents of Alga area, Bauyrzhan Yerdembekov transferred to Fund school libraries author of the book “Abaitanu” that reveals the true spiritual values and upbringing of the younger generation.
In addition, graduates of the 4 schools of Alga area were awarded certificates of Professor Kudaibergen Zhubanov’s educational grant, and the parents of distinguished students University Zhubanov and young professionals Alga district – the graduates received letters of thanks.
