Zhubanov University supported the action “My flag, my homeland!”
The main goal of the Patriotic campaign is to place the national flag on a permanent basis in public places, tourist facilities, shopping and entertainment centers, higher and secondary special educational institutions.
In order to popularize the state symbols and educate patriotism among students, state flags were placed at the faculties of Zhubanov University. According to the Vice-rector for social and educational work Nurzhan Berdybayev, this will help to eliminate the stereotype in society about the ban on the use of state symbols and make them generally accessible. “We want our students to see the national flag every day in all academic buildings, respect the state symbols and feel like real patriots,” the Vice-rector said.
