An online seminar on the use of the program to check for plagiarism of research works was held at the University of Zhubanov. The seminar was held by a foreign representative of Turnitin-Sarah Monteiro (USA).
The Vice-rector of the University for Science and innovation, teachers of disciplines in the curriculum of which written works are provided, methodists of the center for change management and assessment of the quality of education were able to discuss the nuances of the program with a foreign specialist.
It should be noted that the Turnitin program for checking for plagiarism of written (coursework, thesis, dissertation) and research works is being implemented at the University of Zhubanov from the 2019-2020 academic year. The Turnitin program will be used as an auxiliary tool for self-examination of research works of students, undergraduates and doctoral students, as well as researchers and teachers.
