Trajectory: Aktobe – Martuk
Within the framework of the programs “Young Specialist”, “With diploma to the village”, elimination of the lack of personnel in the districts and employment of graduates Zhubanov University in cooperation with the akimat of Martuk district organized a meeting of graduates of 2020 with the leadership of the district and the university. The event was the start of a series of meetings on employment of young specialists.
The meeting was held in the format of “Open microphone”, where students of universities, colleges of the city were able to ask questions about the demanded specialties and employment of the akim of Martuk district Yermek Kenzhekhanuly, head of Martuk district agricultural department Shamil Sarinov, deputy chief physician of the central district hospital Zhanibek Kazibayuly and others.
Welcoming the participants of the meeting, Rector of Zhubanov University Bauyrzhan Yerdembekov expressed gratitude to the akim of Martuk district, stressing the importance of cooperation and interest of the district administration in finding qualified personnel. Bauyrzhan Yerdembekov touched upon the new law ‘On the status of the teacher’ due to which the graduates of pedagogical specialties will be able to get privileges and fill the personnel deficit in rural schools. In addition, he noted the joint work with Aktobe region within the project “Zhubanov kerueni”. Recall that in the autumn of 2019 a memorandum of cooperation between Zhubanov University and the administration of the Martuk district was signed. On the basis of school-gymnasium 2 in Martuk were opened branches of departments of the University Philological Faculty “Foreign Philology and Translation”, “English and German” and “Theoretical and Applied Linguistics”, where the exchange of experience between specialists of the university and teachers of schools is carried out, training seminars for teachers and schoolchildren. Three school leavers from the Martuk district received grants from K. Zhubanov as social support.
At the “Trajectory: Aktobe – Martuk” meeting, Yermek Kenzhekhanuly, Akim of Martuk district, told the students about priority directions of development of the district, the problem of shortage of pedagogical, medical personnel, as well as specialists of agricultural sector in rural areas. The head of the district focused attention on the state support of young specialists, in particular, on the lifting allowance in the amount of 265100 tenge, a credit for the purchase of housing in the amount of 1500 MRP (3 976 500 tenge) at 0,01%. According to Yermek Kenzhekhanuly, last year 68 young specialists, who came to the district, received a lift allowance and 49 – loans for the purchase of housing.
Answering the questions of students who were interested in the topics of social support, specific jobs on specialties and opportunities for professional development, the management of the Martuk district told about the demand for teachers of primary classes, mathematics, Russian language, history and foreign languages in rural schools. In 2020, about 160 future specialists will graduate from Zhubanov University in these areas, who will be able to fill the staff shortage. In total this year the university graduates more than 1700 young specialists, 611 – in pedagogical specialties.
Talgat Kilimov, a 4-year student of Zhubanov University, shared that being a native of Martuk district of Voznesenovka village, he plans to finish his master’s degree and work as a history teacher at his native school, and such meetings help to get acquainted closer with the support programs for young specialists, see the prospects.
