The round table on “Al-Farabi’s philosophy – the basis of world civilization”, dedicated to the 1150th anniversary of the great thinker, was held at the Faculty of History of Zhubanov University.
The on-line meeting was organized by the Department of Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan and social and political disciplines for propaganda among young people of ideas of the greatest thinker.
During the discussion the teachers and students of Zhubanov University made their reports, who shared their vision of Al-Farabi personality and his contribution to the field of education, art and science. It was also noted that in the framework of the anniversary year the scientists of the university are doing a lot of work to study and promote the heritage of the great ancestor.
Head of the Department of Philosophy of the S. Seifullin Kazakh Agricultural University, associate professor Esbol Muhanbetkaliev acted as a guest.
