STUDENTS CAN RECEIVE A 42,500 TENGE OF SOCIAL WELFARE PAYMENT

Working students сan also apply for emergency benefits. Birzhan Nurymbetov, Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Kazakhstan, told about it,

 

Nurymbetov noted that students are adults, able-bodied citizens of the country and can work from the age of 16. Accordingly, they may fall into the category of people who have lost their jobs due to the emergency regime and apply for social benefits. The Ministry will not look into whether or not they receive a scholarship.

 

“The majority of young people students do so. They work officially or part-time unofficially. Among them, they work in restaurants, work as salesmen, deliver pizza, any job. Therefore, for you, for students, the same order as for everyone. That is, you decide for yourself today, did you earn money before the emergency? Then they were lost, so you have the right, ” the head of the Department stressed.

However, as the Minister added, social security payments will be charged only if a person has previously listed the ECP.

“Have you been paid for your social security contributions, or have you now paid the single total payment (ECP), as an informally employed person? So, you already have a legal right, so you can apply,” he concluded.

 

 

The minister also said that more than 1.5 million applications for social security payments of 42,500 tenge were rejected due to duplication or errors in their preparation.

Also, he noted that all those in need of social assistance will receive it for the second time due to the extension of the emergency regime.
