An online meeting was held with foreign partners of Zhubanov University, where a plan of joint work for the next five years was developed.
The online conference, led by Vice-Rector for Strategic Development Kuanyshbek Shunkeyev, was attended by Alexander Luschik, Professor of the Estonian University of Tartu, Alexander Skaliy, Professor of the Polish University of Economics Bydgoszcz, and the University’s management. The guests of the conference, representing partner universities abroad, drew attention to the internationalization of science, selection of scientific research, innovation and integration in the scientific and educational space.
It was noted at the meeting that 85-year history and traditions of Zhubanov University are a platform for entering the world rankings. In addition, over the past 3 years, following the world trends, international cooperation has been actively developing. To date, close ties have been established with 8 foreign universities, which are among the 500 best, as well as cooperation with more than 100 universities of America, Europe, Asia in the field of education and science. About 400 students have participated in the academic mobility program, international grant projects and received education abroad. More than 70 foreign scientists, professors and experts held lectures, exchanged experiences and developed joint innovative projects.
In order to make Aktobe Regional University one of the leading universities of the world, to maintain its image at the international level, a strategy has been developed that provides for internationalization of education, science and innovation spheres, international cooperation.
