One of the strategic objectives of Zhubanov University is to enter the world ranking QS. To achieve global heights it is necessary to maintain the quality of education and science at the level of 500 best universities of the world annually. As Gulzhan Shokym, Director of the Centre for International Cooperation of Zhubanov University, notes, every year more and more foreign students decide to study at the university, and foreign professors willingly share their experience with our scientists – all this gives confidence that we are on the right track.
Over the last two years more than 900 foreign citizens have been trained, about 70 foreign professors have taught at the university, the number of publications in international journals and the number of English-language educational programs has increased. At present, Zhubanov University cooperates with 8 universities, which are among the top-500 world ranking QS, and continues to work on reaching the international level. Thus, the university staff participated in a webinar by Shadi Hizaji, an expert from the QS office in the UK, who analyzed the best international practices in the field of quality management of education, production and innovation and gave recommendations for the development of the university.
