NEW GRADUATE EMPLOYMENT POLICY

Students enrolled on the rural quota should work in the village for at least three years.

The Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan has issued a resolution with amendments to the rules of employment of university graduates studying under the state educational order:

The Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan DECIDES:

  1. To introduce into the Resolution of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated March 30, 2012, No. 390 “On approval of the Rules of sending a specialist to work, granting the right of self-employment, exemption from obligation or termination of obligation to work by the citizens who studied on the basis of the state educational order” and on introduction of amendments and additions to the Resolution of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated January 23, 2008, No. 58 “On approval of the Rules of awarding the educational grant” (CAPP RK 2012, No. 40, art. 531) the following from the list of the Rules of awarding the educational grant

in the Rules of sending the specialist to work, granting the right of independent employment, release from obligation or termination of obligation on working out by the citizens who studied on the basis of the state educational order, approved by the mentioned decree:

paragraph 3 should be stated in the following wording:

“3. Citizens enrolled in training in pedagogical, medical, veterinary and agricultural specialties within the quota provided to citizens from among rural youth shall work in state educational organizations, state medical organizations, in subdivisions of state bodies carrying out activities in the field of veterinary medicine, in state veterinary organizations and organizations regardless of the form of ownership of the agrarian profile located in rural areas, respectively; at least three years after graduation from higher education and (or) postgraduate (further-university) education”;

paragraph 28 has been amended in the state language, the text in the Russian language has not been changed.

  1. This Resolution shall come into effect ten calendar days after the day of its first official publication.
