Faculty of Natural History and the Department of Social Affairs and Youth Policy of Zhubanov University organized a Republican online webinar on the theme: “Socialization of students in distance learning: experience and opportunities” to provide methodological assistance to curators. The online conference was attended by about 100 teachers and students from Kazakhstan’s institutions of higher education.
Dean of the Faculty of Natural History Murat Makhambetov spoke about the organization of the educational process and adaptation of students to the changing format of distance learning. Associate Professor of the Department of Social Pedagogy and Self-knowledge of L.N.Gumilyov Eurasian National University (Nursultan), Candidate of Psychological Sciences Aliya Mambetalina made a presentation on “Maintenance of psychological health of students and teachers of the university during the crisis” and shared her ideas on how to adapt to changes in society and overcome the crisis. Gaukhar Baitasheva, Associate Professor of the Faculty of Natural History of the Kazakh National Women’s Pedagogical University (Almaty), digital volunteer, noted the importance of video lectures and films in creating love for the environment among students. The webinar was also attended by teachers of Arkalyk State Institute, Shakarim State University (Semey), Atyrau Construction College and Energy.
Aydarbek Abylaikhan, Student Senator of the Faculty of Natural Sciences of Zhubanov University, told about the work of the student senate in the system of distance learning. Director of the Department of Social Affairs and Youth Policy Karlygash Satybaldina shared her thoughts on new social research among modern student youth.
