According to the Independent Accreditation and Rating Agency, Zhubanov University is ranked 4th among Kazakhstan’s higher education institutions in 2020.
In 2020, 89 universities applied for participation in the National Rating of Demand for Higher Education Institutions. As noted by the staff of the Independent Accreditation and Rating Agency, due to the difficult situation associated with the pandemic COVID-19, some education organizations could not fully provide the necessary data and, accordingly, to participate in the ranking.
However, in 2020 there were 1,939 educational programmes registered in the ranking, which is twice as many as in the year of the launch of the ranking studies IAAR.
Among the most important indicators of the ranking methodology, developed by IAAR, are the following key indicators: institutional and program (specialized) accreditation as an internationally recognized indicator of education quality; level of human resources development (both students and faculty); internationalization of higher education, its integration into the international educational space; level of development of scientific research; employment and demand for graduates in the country.
The key orientation of the rating is in demand – it is one of the most important requirements of the time. Both the University, and the education given to them, and the graduates should be really demanded by economy and society, meet their today’s and perspective requirements.
