SMART CURATOR – 2020

Zhubanov University chose the best curator. To raise the status of curators in training specialists of the new formation, to encourage creative teachers – this is the goal set by the organizers of the contest “Smart Curator – 2020”.

The contest, organized by the Department of Social Affairs and Youth Policy and the Trade Union Committee of Zhubanov University, was held from May 14 to June 3. During this time, the best curators of groups of the Faculty of Pedagogy, History, Philology, Economics and Law, Natural Sciences, Professional Creative, Physical and Mathematical Faculties, Higher College presented a video presentation of themselves and their group, a video Challenge to the 85th anniversary of Zhubanov University, and also held an open curatorial hour dedicated to the 1150th anniversary of Abu Nasir al-Farabi.

According to the representatives of the Department of Social Affairs and Youth Policy, the teachers showed wit, as a congratulation on the 85th anniversary of the University, launched a greenery Challenge on the territory of the University and the city, a health campaign “Marathon-85”, where students should run a total distance of 85 km by the end of summer, and much more.

Supporting the words of Rector Bauyrzhan Yerdembekov that curators as real parents for students, whose task is even more difficult – not to educate, and reeducate, a teacher of the Faculty of History Miroslava Omirzakova, shared that he is the curator of the first year and believes that any work with students is built on respect: “Now in the new format of education, we could not see the students, but all the educational work was carried out remotely, working closely with students, it is possible only when students come to your meeting”.

The students themselves spoke about feedback and mutual assistance. Guys of the 2nd year of the Higher College of Zhubanov University, who came to support their curator Akylbek Konysov, without hiding their respect, said that the curator helps them in everything: gives advice on studies and even personal life.

As a result of the contest “Smart curator – 2020” Gulzhan Algartova, representing the professional and creative faculty, became a curator.

I place went to Akylbek Konysov from the Higher College;

II place went to Akerke Kirova (Faculty of Natural History);

III place went to Ainur Kushkimbaeva (Faculty of Philology).

“The “Audience Award” was awarded to Azamat Kaliev from the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics; Miroslava Omirzakova (History Faculty), Shynar Nurgaliyeva (Economics and Law Faculty) and Zhanagul Yergarina (Pedagogical Faculty) were awarded in the category “Curator of the Active Group”.

The winners received cash awards in the amount of 100, 70, 50 and 40 thousand tenge, and all participants – incentive prizes.
