At the end of May this year the regular meeting of the National Council of Public Trust took place, where the main theme was the development of education and science. At the end of the meeting, the Head of State gave important assignments for the system of education and science.
One of such instructions was to increase the requirements for applicants for teaching specialties, and at the same time increase the size of the scholarship to 42 thousand tenge.
If last year the size of the scholarship was 21 thousand tenge, then after an instruction of the President in December it increased to 26 thousand tenge, now from September 1, future teachers will receive the highest scholarship of 42 thousand tenge.
Also, according to the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, since September the scholarship for doctoral students has increased from 102 thousand to 150 thousand tenge.
