On the basis of the Pedagogical Faculty of K. Zhubanov Aktobe Regional University the XII Republican Student Subject Olympiad in the educational program “Defectology” was held. The Olympiad was attended by 11 teams, 33 students of higher educational institutions of the Republic.
Participants tested their knowledge in two rounds: protection of the scientific project on the theme “Use of innovative technologies in special education” and testing in special subjects.
The relay of the subject Olympiad next year passed to A. Baitursynov Kostanay Regional University , 1st place was taken by S. M. Kazkenova, a student of the group “Teachers of the future” of this university.
According to the participants, the Olympiad was perfectly organized and will be an impetus for the formation of research activities in the field of special education, creating an educational environment for children with special needs.
