Today soccer fans, fans and athletes gathered at the Palace of Students of Zhubanov University. In a festive atmosphere, the results of the 3rd season of the Student Futsal League were summed up.
Acting rector Rakhym Beknazarov congratulated the league participants at the Zhubanov League-2020 awarding ceremony (more than 150 students out of 15 teams) and stressed that soccer is a team sport that unites intelligence, speed, and power. Rakhym Beknazarov presented letters of gratitude to the students who actively participate in the organization of the games: Guldana Mukhanbetzhan, Aruzhan Abdikaparova, Asylbekov Nurzhigit, Daulet Klishkarin and the Chairman of Zhubanov League – Turar Tanirbergenov.
Yerbazy Kuanyshbek from the “ATHLETIC” team, who became the best player, as well as the best scorer – student of the Professional and Creative Faculty Dias Andirmash and the best goalkeeper – student of the Faculty of Economics and Law Almat Temiruly received well-deserved awards by the results of Zhubanov League – 2020.
Prize-winning places took:
1 place – the team of technical faculty “ATHLETIC”.
2nd place – the team of professional and creative faculty “GRAND PTF”.
3rd place – the team of professional and creative faculty “PTF EMPIRE”.
Winners were awarded monetary prizes, and all participating teams were given letters of commendation, including the team of the Higher College of Jubanov University “ALASH ORDA”, which has recently taken first place in the regional tournament on mini-football among colleges and received a ticket to the National Student League.
Nurzhan Berdybaev, Vice-rector on social and educational work, Karylgash Satybaldina, director of Department on social affairs and youth policy, Victor Zeibel, the veteran of soccer club “Aktobe” congratulated the guys with a big sports holiday called Zhubanov League, which unites the best students of the university.
Video address of the players of “Aktobe” MFC and graduates of Zhubanov University caused a loud ovation. Successful players wished good luck to the novice athletes and thanked the university management for the development of mini-football.
