The life of blind people has long been a subject of discussion in the World Health Organization, and in any civilized society. In Kazakhstan there are a number of programs aimed at the rehabilitation of the blind and visually impaired, but in fact the environment for the visually impaired in our country can hardly be called accessible. In addition, for these people is very important and the simple attention of the people around them.
Start-ups of Zhubanov University decided to help visually impaired people of Aktobe in their own way. As already told earlier, students under the direction of teacher of physics and mathematics department Askhat Ramankulov invented a technological robot-guide. The easy-to-use device can replace the usual cane.
Today the young inventors passed the trial device to the regional educational and production enterprise of the Kazakh Society of the Blind so that its participants could use the technological cane in their usual life and contribute their wishes to further developments.
Representatives of the Society of the Blind, in turn, thanked the guys for their care and promised that they will actively participate in the tests of the new design, which in the future may become an “assistant” to the visually impaired.
