As you know, the territory of Kazakhstan has preserved many sacred places from ancient times to modern times: mounds, mausoleums, necropolises, mazars. Local landscapes are also important in the study of history. During the meeting, questions regarding systematization, comprehensive characteristics of ethnographic, archaeological and natural sacral monuments were raised. The scientists discussed the preparation of an illustrated specialized catalog “Sacred geography of the Aktobe region”.
