Today the Minister of Ecology, Geology and Natural Resources of RK Magzum Mirzagaliyev met with the heads of enterprises, the public of the city and journalists in Zhubanov University. Participants of the meeting discussed the implementation of the new Environmental Code, environmental issues of the region and the work being done to improve the environment.
Among the speakers at the conference was Akylzhan Teleuov, associate professor of ecology department of Zhubanov University. The teacher noted that the choice of the discussion platform on the basis of the university is the right decision, as environmental issues – issues of the future generation.
Akylzhan Teleuov emphasized that the new Environmental Code should contribute to the transition of Kazakhstan to a green economy, safe technologies and rational use of natural resources.
The scientist put forward a proposal to develop a unified information platform with free access via the Internet, which would record environmental data, interactive map with all enterprises of the region, biodiversity of flora, fauna and many others. With the possibility for a registered user to receive advice from competent persons, representatives of industrial enterprises and responsible agencies, as well as to replenish the information.
